The Awards are open internationally, and we really wanted to create something that goes beyond simply receiving an award or a title. Our judges are also contributing services, consultations, mentoring and industry expertise to the winners, so the prize is designed to actually help companies move forward.
For any of your companies that are interested in exploring the Canadian market, I think this could be a particularly useful opportunity. The judging panel includes experts across distribution, retail, formulation, product development, branding, business strategy, technology and social media, so participating gives companies a chance to put their products and innovations in front of people who understand how to help bring them into the Canadian market. We wanted the Awards to be impactful and to create real connections, not just recognition.
