GCC Asia:
A new regional division of the Global Cosmetics Cluster launches in Asia
The Global Cosmetics Cluster (GCC), the first international network for the cosmetics industry, is pleased to announce the launch of GCC Asia, a new regional division dedicated to strengthening collaboration across the Asian cosmetics sector.
This initiative is being developed with the participation of several key Asian clusters, including the Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC), the Korea International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), Taiwan Beauty Valley, the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), and the Thai Cosmetic Cluster (TCOS).
The official announcement will take place during the General Assembly of JCC, scheduled for June 11th in Karatsu, Japan.
GCC Asia aims to enhance regional collaboration among Asian cosmetics clusters, promote innovation, and support the international development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the beauty and personal care sectors.
The division will be initially coordinated by the Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC) and the Korea International Beauty Industry Trade Association (IBITA), in close collaboration with participating clusters. Together, the group will promote knowledge exchange, organize joint events, increase Asia’s visibility within the global GCC network, and support sustainable innovation in the regional cosmetics industry.
This initiative reflects a shared commitment by Asian clusters to work together and strengthen Asia’s voice in the global beauty ecosystem.
The formation of GCC Asia has been officially endorsed by the GCC board and will operate fully under the governance and mission of the global network.
